The community of Centre Wellington is very generous and supports the mission of the Centre Wellington Food Bank. Personal donors, families, schools, churches, service groups and clubs continually provide food and financial donations. Without your continued support we would not be able to help our clients. Because of your efforts last year in 2009, we had over 2400 visitors. The food you provide is on our shelves and the money is used to buy dairy products, fresh meat, fruit and vegetables. Please continue to donate.

The Centre Wellington Food Bank is a not for profit charitable service. Community support is greatly appreciated. Financial donations are necessary to make our service a success. Income tax receipts are provided.

You are making a difference in our community.

Fundraisers/Food Drives

Many fundraisers are operated in Centre Wellington with the support that is raised going to the C.W. Food bank, we appreciate these fundraisers very much. Many of our fundraisers are operated along side others during a very busy times “Thanksgiving” & “Christmas” are two prime examples.  During any season however we ask that if you are interested in running a fundraiser on behalf of the food bank that you contact us either by phone at 519-787-1401 or by email at cwfoodbank@wightman.ca. By letting us know that you are planning a fundraiser we can place an add on our website directing more people to your fundraiser, maximizing your time and effort. When you contact us you can fill out a fundraiser form which allows the food and monetary donations to be further maximized by organizing our volunteers and transportation accordingly. To get a copy of this form please click the link here –>Fundraiser Form

I notice that you have a clothes room … do you take clothing donations as well as food. A family member recently died and had an abundance of clothes/shoes. Do you have any particular needs as far as clothes go?

    Thanks,

    Denise

Have you ever considered adding more videos to your blog posts to keep the readers more entertained? I mean I just read through the entire article of yours and it was quite good but since I’m more of a visual learner,I found that to be more helpful well let me know how it turns out!

  3. Azend Consulting says:

    Hello Lazaro,

You are absolutely right we should have more streaming content but the problem is that the staff that required to make such things happen would need transportation to our location which they are unable to get. The end result is that we can only talk with each other is over the internet which makes it sort of impossible for the staff to set up their equipment.

    Thanks for the idea,
    Verdi

  7. Good day! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from an established blog. Is it very difficult to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about setting up my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any tips or suggestions? With thanks

  8. I like your post. Good job!
